Fat injection is the new and fast becoming most popular method of improving facial and neck tone. Fat is removed by liposuction from an area like thigh, buttock etc. It is then injected with fine needle and syringes under the skin around the face. This fat fills up the tissue spaces under the skin and provides support to the skin of the face. The face thus appears more supple and younger looking.
This can be used as a double procedure - liposuction for body contouring by removing fat from difficult areas and then using this fat for injection in the face and neck area.
Mini Face Lift can be done under local anaesthetic but do discuss this with your surgeon. The bruising around the face will settle in a few days. Having a good balanced diet, no smoking and regular exercise are the key to maintaining healthy facial colour and tone.
